Mushroom and Blue Cheese Wagyu Burger
Nothing pairs better with Wagyu steakburgers than the earthy richness of sautéed mushrooms balanced by the bold, tangy bite of blue cheese. And because Wagyu is naturally more flavorful thanks to all that marbling, it’s a perfect canvas for bold ingredients.
The result is a burger that's familiar enough to satisfy your comfort food cravings, yet elevated enough to serve at your most impressive dinner parties.
Ingredients:
-
Salt and pepper
-
Neutral oil
-
3 burger buns
-
5-6 mushrooms, thinly sliced
-
1 tbsp soy sauce
-
Dijonaise (equal parts mayo and grainy dijon mustard)
-
Blue cheese
Instructions
Season Wagyu Steakburgers generously with salt and pepper. Heat a large cast iron skill with a small amount of neutral oil over medium-high heat. Lay burgers into a pan and cook for 5-6 minutes a side. Flip every minute after that until cooked through fully.
Remove burgers from the pan and set aside. Add mushrooms and soy sauce to the pan and saute for 3-4 minutes. Set aside. Add the cut side of the buns to lightly toast them. Assemble burger with dijonaise, mushrooms, and blue cheese! Enjoy!
