This mouth-watering tri-tip roast is also called a bottom sirloin roast, and it's best served slow-roasted in the oven or smoker or sliced up and grilled as steaks. As there are only two tri-tip roasts per cow, sizing is variable, and each roast weighs anywhere from 1.5 to 2.5 lbs. It's the perfect roast for holidays or special occasions.
